Founder moves to Birmingham

Yasmin, the Founder who had recently moved to Birmingham, found herself overwhelmed by the size and variety of activities in the city.

15 January 2020

The idea was born

After 2.5 years living in the city, the idea was created as the co-founder help others navigate the delights of Birmingham and experience all it has to offer, she and her husband created started the journey to create Birmingham Explored as a travel portal

10 March 2020

Covid Period

Unfortunately, the Covid pandemic led to the project being on hold for 2 years, due to the sad closure of businesses and activities and the devasting effect of the UK lockdowns.

12 April 2022

Renewed energy Post Covid

After nearly 2 years since the covid pandemic and which renewed energy the co-founder started on establishing the Birmingham Explored and more now to help the Birmingham hospitality industry and promote the greatness of Birmingham to the world.

27 February 2023

Birmingham Explored Launched

After many months of planning and mapping the city of unique districts and the best restaurants, events, attractions and hotels Birminghamexplored.com was launched.

11 March 2024

Birmingham Explored Trademark

In a significant move to safeguard its brand identity and intellectual property, Birmingham Explored has successfully obtained a UK trademark. This legal recognition and ensuring the platform's continued authenticity and integrity. The trademark registration signified a key milestone for Birmingham Explored, solidifying its position as a leading authority on the city's vibrant culture and hidden gems.

Our Instagram social media account goes viral.

BirminghamExplored's Instagram account unexpectedly went viral . Which started as a passion project secondary to the travel platform. As our following soared, so did the attention. Local restaurants, events and attraction contacted us and we began featuring them through our business program.
