With everything from talks, workshops, and tours to outdoor performances and open days, there’s something for everyone. You can discover the city’s cultural and industrial heritage, learn new skills, or get active with a heritage-themed running, cycling, or walking tour.

Local places and spaces across the city are opening up to inspire and surprise you. It’s a fantastic chance to visit buildings and outdoor spaces you might not normally see, like historic factories, museums, and religious buildings, including mosques, churches, and cathedrals. You can also explore cemeteries, take a canal tour, or join an outdoor heritage tour in a local park or neighborhood.
